In memory of Tiananmen Square

Twenty years ago today I sat and watched the unfolding events in Tiananmen Square and witnessed the world-wide outcry from the massacre that happened there.

There are four events I remember with searing detail over the years: Tiananmen Square, the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Challenger Disaster, and September 11. In each case I have such a strong and vivid recollection of the events leading up to seeing the scenes unfold on the news, that for me, they really are defining moments in my life.

In memory of those killed and whose names are undoubtedly lost forever.
