Do you need a backup healthcheck review? This is a short process that:
- Evaluates your current configuration;
- Reviews your logs;
- Gets feedback from IT staff and management on backup policies and requirements;
- Provides a report which covers:
- Where your environment is meeting your data protection requirements;
- Gaps in your backup coverage;
- Areas for process improvement.
The report can be presented in two ways:
- A regular meeting; or,
- A workshop session with appropriate staff (including IT personnel and management responsible for the backups).
Optionally, a filesystem and data profiling assessment can also be conducted, broadening the scope of the engagement.
My move to Melbourne will be starting this weekend, and I’ll be setup and back to work on Tuesday, 14 June.
