When you’re using NetWorker on the command line, one of the tools you’ll use most regularly is the mminfo command. This reports on NetWorker media database information – volumes and savesets, particularly.
There are several ‘savetime’ related fields you can get information on with NetWorker (and query on). These are:
- savetime: The backup time, from the client.
- nsavetime: (Report only) The savetime, in seconds since the epoch (Jan 1, 1970).
- sscreate: The savetime from the perspective of the server.
- sscomp: The time the saveset was completed.
- ssbrowse: The browsable time of the saveset.
- ssretent: The retention time of the saveset.
- ddrltime: The retention lock time of the saveset on a Data Domain, if retention lock has been enabled.
- ssprotect: The policy protection period (this is the option to enable at least one copy of the saveset to be kept in the media database even if the client is no longer backed up).
The mminfo command has the option to specify a column width in the report. You specify fieldname(x) in the report options, where x is the width you’re after.
