Do a TNB test"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Call me a cynic, but I find buzzword-targetted hype tedious a lot of the time.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;ll always be people hunting for The Next Buzzword (TNB), and when hearing a lot of hype it&#8217;s usually important to stop for a minute and see whether there&#8217;s actually anything useful being said, or whether it&#8217;s just all hype.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re not sure whether it&#8217;s hype or whether there&#8217;s anything meaningful in it, I find it&#8217;s handy to do a search and replace on the Buzzword or Buzzphrase, swapping it out for TNB (or if you want: The Next Buzzword).<\/p>\n<p>If you do that, you re-read it, and there&#8217;s still anything <em>information<\/em> left in the message, then it&#8217;s probably more than just hype.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Call me a cynic, but I find buzzword-targetted hype tedious a lot of the time.
