{"id":4599,"date":"2009-06-02T07:53:09","date_gmt":"2009-06-01T21:53:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nsrd.wordpress.com\/?p=500"},"modified":"2009-06-02T07:53:09","modified_gmt":"2009-06-01T21:53:09","slug":"sydney-to-perth-lambretta-ride-for-cancer-funding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nsrd.info\/blog\/2009\/06\/02\/sydney-to-perth-lambretta-ride-for-cancer-funding\/","title":{"rendered":"Sydney to Perth Lambretta Ride for Cancer Funding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of my dear friends, Siobh\u00e1n Ellis, will later this year be riding her <a title=\"Lambretta on Wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lambretta\" target=\"_blank\">Lambretta<\/a> scooter from Sydney to Perth to help raise funds for breast and prostate cancer.<\/p>\n<p>This isn&#8217;t a short trip \u2013 it&#8217;ll take Siobh\u00e1n a little more than two weeks to get from Sydney to Perth. It&#8217;s around 4,000 kilometres, or just under 2,500 miles. As the crow flies, that&#8217;s around the same distance one would <em>fly<\/em> from London to Baghdad.
