A small yet nice new feature in NetWorker 8.1 is a limited form of parameter expansion in NetWorker notification action entries.<\/p>\n

I spotted this in the Scheduled Clone Notification<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

This isn’t something that’s heavily documented, but it was fairly easy to intuit that was likely to be a variable instantiation of the invoking resource name, and a quick test verified that theory to be correct.<\/p>\n
So, I decided to play around with everyone’s favourite notification: Savegroup Completion<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Sure enough, savegroup completion email subjects were populated with the group name:<\/p>\n
