{"id":5382,"date":"2014-12-29T14:42:28","date_gmt":"2014-12-29T04:42:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nsrd.info\/blog\/?p=5382"},"modified":"2018-12-11T13:37:18","modified_gmt":"2018-12-11T03:37:18","slug":"the-data-protection-manifesto","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nsrd.info\/blog\/2014\/12\/29\/the-data-protection-manifesto\/","title":{"rendered":"The Data Protection Manifesto"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In my last post for 2014, I want to touch briefly on a few rules I think everyone in our industry ought to follow.<\/p>\n<p>We work in data protection, and that creates&nbsp;certain obligations on us to do our jobs well \u2013&nbsp;after all, we&#8217;re entrusted&nbsp;to safeguard the data and systems used by the businesses we work for. Doing the job&nbsp;<em>right<\/em>&nbsp;comes from following a code of conduct (regardless of whether&nbsp;that&#8217;s official or unofficial).
