If you’re looking for the current virtualisation buzzword, you’d be hard-pressed to go past containers at the moment. Fast, scalable and svelte, there are untold numbers of developers and businesses getting very excited about what they offer.
One of the cool things announced at VMworld in September was a tech preview of PowerProtect providing data protection services for Kubernetes. (As a tech preview, you won’t find it in the current release of PowerProtect, but based on the speed at which PowerProtect is evolving, you probably won’t have to wait for long, either.)
