In this continuing PPDM basics series, I wanted to step you through the process of the following two activities:
- Performing a virtual machine recovery from an image-based backup to an alternate vSphere/ESX host
- Performing a file-level recovery from an image-based backup, to an alternate virtual machine.
(The previous PPDM demo covered performing an FLR out of the file-search function, which currently restores just to the original virtual machine.)
