Basics – PPDM 19.3 Deployment and Initial Setup

I needed to do some reconfiguration in my lab recently, and I decided that it was a prime opportunity for me to start my PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM) deployment from scratch, but actually record the process to show just how easy it is.

I know I’ve shown screen-captures before – they’re my go-to process for demonstrating things¹, but nothing shows how simple it is to deploy and setup PPDM quite like a video.

So here are two videos. The first video takes you through the OVA deployment, while the second runs through the post-deployment initial setup. (You may want to use the “Gear” icon to adjust the video resolution or click the link in the caption to view the videos directly on YouTube.)

I’ll do more videos next week stepping you through some configuration activities once that deployment is complete. What you should see from these videos though is the initial deployment and setup of PPDM is as easy as 1-2-3!
